好久不见的老友--芙中彭亨校友会的成员; 前会长黄国民，现任会长廖观书校友及同仁。

在晚餐之前，副董事长李贵超，雪隆校友会顾问卢运来，
副会长林泽峰，芙蓉校友会会长李兆祥，副会长张康华及理事与友会们先来了一场非常有意义及开心的交流会。大家谈了约两句钟才意犹未尽地离开国民校友的豪华酒店，前往我们所响往的美味餐馆共进晚餐。

在此之前，我们只从贵超及观书校友的口中大力的介绍该地餐馆的超级美味食物，在真正尝到佳肴之后，才深深地了解到他们对食物的形容，绝不夸张，让我们大饱口福。

对于之前想与我们同行而又临时放我们飞机的人，在此我要向你们说声sorrylah!!!

以上资料是我由尊敬的沈老校长的名片上所得的第一印象。

非常荣幸的在符永刚学长及侯宝兴先生的特别安排下，我有机会到访沈老在马六甲的家。同行的还有芙中校友会会长李兆祥同学及雪隆会长沈剑国同学。

这次的行程是专程诚邀沈老到来为我们2007年7月7日的芙友联合书画义展主持开幕典礼。

我们非常开心及感激沈老很豪爽的一口答应我们，并且还非常慷慨的捐赠逾十幅他的墨宝予我们的画展义卖，他的善举仁风果然名不虚传。


我们能与95岁的沈老一起交流两个多小时，感觉非常荣幸及得益不浅。他那超人的记忆力也使我们大家都非常惊讶！

沈老是我们大家的典范，华教之光，众人之师，国家之宝。

希望他健康长寿，成为我国的第一人瑞。

芙中校友联合书画义展 Sermban CHHS Alumni Art Exhibition

为了配合芙蓉中华中学今年的校庆，芙蓉中华校友会定于7月7日至15日一连9天在芙蓉中华校友会会所举办“芙中校友联合书画义展”。

义展共获得13名书画家参展，包括谢忝宋博士、符永刚博士、余斯福、蔡梅兰、蔡卓南、何杰明、林丽萍、王建文、许森贵、邱文成、郭清文、陈炎及黄爱生。所展出的字画共188幅，总值约80万令吉。

各位朋友，想欣赏这幅32方尺的巨画吗？这是谢忝宋博士的作品，画名为“步步高升“， 价值RM98,000.00。

除了这作品以外，这次画展还有许多非常高水准的作品, 值得大家到来欣赏。

Fun drive n Durian Fest

Rotary Club of Sri Petaling is organizing a "Fun Drive n Durian Fest" to Kampung Titi, Negeri Sembilan on Sunday 22nd July 2007. The programme is an opportunity for the club members to foster closer ties with their families, at the same time conduct a charity drive to raise fund for the SJK Chun Yin, Kampung Titi.
The fund raised will be used to upgrade the office equipments, which includes buying a new photocopier among others.

In order to make the trip more fun-filled, a treasure-hunt look-a-like will be arranged to make sure everyone explores the beauty of the nature and the many interesting views of countryside that most of the city folks tend to overlook. Prizes will be given to the first 5 cars with the mostcorrect answers to the questions.

A durian fest will be arranged in SJK Chun Yin to welcome all the participants. Farmers from the surrounding areas will be donating fruits and vegetables to this event. All the paid-up participants will be able to enjoy as much fruits as their stomachs can carry, and we ensure that all the fruits will be of the best quality.

With the generosity and kindness these farmers have shown, it is only right that we reciprocate by buying more fruits and vegetables for our friends and families. All the proceeds from the sales will also be donated to the school, so, go on a shopping spree, ladies and gentlemen!
On the way back, we will visit a dragon fruit orchard to see for ourselves, many for the first time, how a dragon fruit tree looks like. Dragon always brings good luck, so enjoy the prosperous trip.

To add to the excitement, for those who would like to explore more of the nature, we will recommend that you go a day earlier and spend the Saturday night (21st July 2007) at the famous TiTi Eco Farm. Experience the closeness to the nature where all foods are prepared organically. Details of the resort are in the attached brochure. We can assist to make reservation. If the response is good, further discount is possible.

ROTARY CLUB OF SRI PETALING
A FUND RAISING PROJECT FOR
SJK CHUN YIN, KAMPUNG TITI

Sunday 22nd July 2007

From Seri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur to Kampung Titi, Negri Sembilan

7:00 am - 7:30 am Registration
Please register at the parking lot near "The Store" shopping centre in Seri Petaling. Pre-packed breakfast will be distributed to all fully-paid participants.

8:00 am Departure from Seri Petaling

8:00 - 11:00 am Fun Drive from Seri Petaling to Kampung Titi

The Fun Drive from Seri Petaling to Kampung Titi shall take about 2 ½ hours. The challenges include locating some interesting places and to collect sample of local fruits, and answer some tricky questions. Prizes will be given to the first 5 cars with the most correct answers.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm Durian and Tropical Fruits Fest
The local farmers are donating durians, other tropical fruits as well as vegetables to raise fund for the SJK Chun Yin.

All paid-up Fun Drive participants are entitled to an all-you-can-eat, best quality durians and other tropical fruits at the SJK Chun Yin.
All participants are also encouraged to buy additional fruits and vegetables for their friends and families. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to the school as well.

2:00pm – 3:00 pm Visit to Dragon Fruit Orchard
On the way back to Kuala Lumpur, we will visit a dragon fruit orchard to see up close how dragon fruit trees look like.
